B 2 Insérer la lame de scie fig. 9–12
• Conduisez une extrémité de la lame de scie à travers la
perforation dans la table et insérez les épingles de la
lame de scie dans l’entaille. Répétez cette procédure-
ci au support supérieur de la lame.
• Avant de l’accrocher, appuyez le bras supérieur de la
scie légèrement en bas. Fig. 10; No. 5
• Contrôlez la position des épingles de la lame aux
supports (fig. 12).
• Serrez la lame au moyen du tendeur. Contrôlez le
serrement de la scie. Continuez à faire la tourner dans
le sens des aiguilles afin de serrer la lame de plus.
(Fig. 11).
Principes fondamentaux de l‘utillsation
Dans le fond, une scie à découper est un «outil à décou-
per des courbes» avec lequel il est cependant possible
d‘entre prendre aussi des découpages d‘angles droits et
de biais. Avant de ne mettre la scie en service, vous
devriez vous familiarisez avec les points suivants:
• La scie ne découpe pas le bois d‘elle même. Vous
devez conduire à la main le bois vers la scie.
• Le processus de sciage n‘a lieu quependantle
mouvement descendant de la lame de scie.
• Introduisez lentement le bois dans la lame de scie,
étant donné que les dents de lame de scie sont
petites et ne peuventcouper que dans un mouvement
descendant.
• Toute personne qui utilise la scie a besoin d‘un appren-
tis sage. Pendant cette période, tant que I‘utilisateur

• Lead one end of the saw-blade through the perforation
in the table and insert the saw-blade pins into the
notch. Repeat this procedure at the upper blade
support.
• Before hooking it in, slightly press the saw´s upper arm
down. (Fig 10; Nr. 5)
• Check the position of the blade pins at the supports
(fig 12).
• Tighten the blade by means of the tightening screw.
Check the blade´s tightness. Keep on rotating
clockwise in order to tighten the blade even more.
(Fig. 11).
Basic operation
A scroll saw is fundamentally a „curve cutting tool“ but
which can also carry out straight and angled edge cuts.
Familiarise yourself with the following important points
prior to commissioning the saw.
• The saw does not automatically cut wood. You must
feed the wood against the saw blade manually.
• The cutting process occurs on I y while the blade is
moving downwards.
• Feed the wood slowly against the saw blade as the
saw blade teeth are small and cut only while moving
downwards.
• AlI persons carrying out work with the saw require
training. The saw blade may break easily during this
training time Iwhile the operator is sti1l unfamiliar
with the saw.
