Children must not be allowed to play with plas-
tic bags, lm and small parts! There is a risk of
swallowing and suffocation!
8. Installation
Note:
Use a suitable coolant, e.g. cutting oil. This improves
the endurance and increases the service life of the
metal saw blade.
Saw blades are available which have been optimal-
ly designed for particular tasks. You can use any of
these saw blades provided they have the correct
shank tting (single lug shank).
Mounting / replacing saw blades
Warning !
Pull the mains plug out of the socket before you carry
out any task on the device, otherwise there may be
risk of injury.
Turn the quick-release chuck (14) and hold it in the
turned position.
Press the selected saw blade (10) up to the stop in
the quick-release chuck (14). The saw blade (10)
should then engage.
The saw blade (10) must lie in the guide roller (9).
Release the quick-release chuck (14). The chuck-
must then return to its original position. The saw
blade (10) is then locked in place.
Attaching the guide fence
The guide fence (15) can be attached on the left or
right side of the device (see g. A).
Release the two locking screws of the fence guide
openings (11).
Slide the guide fence (15) into the fence guide
openings (11).
Re-tighten the two locking screws.
Insertion / removal of a batterypack into the ap-
pliance
Ensure that the appliance is switched off before in-
serting the battery. The insertion of a battery into an
electrical appliance that is switched on can lead to
accidents.
Inserting the rechargeable battery pack:
Move the rotation switch (2) into the middle position
(lock) and push the rechargeable battery pack (5) into
the handle until it engages.
Removing the rechargeable battery pack:
Press the release button (4) and remove the re-
chargeable battery pack.
Used batteries
If a fully recharged battery lasts for considerably
shorter operating times, the battery is used up and
needs to be replaced. Only use an OEM battery pack
replacement available from our Customer Service.
Operation
Setting the cutting angle
Release the clamping lever (6)
Set the cutting angle 0° / 15° / 30° / 45° (left / right)
on the base plate (7). The embossed marking for
each recessed line indicates the cutting angle set-
ting. The housing has a stop pin which must en-
gage in the appropriate recessed line.
Tighten the clamping lever (6).
Setting the speed
Set the desired speed using the oscillation speed
setting wheel (3).
If possible always determine the optimum setting
beforehand by carrying out a practical test.
