we wish you a pleasant and successful working experience
with your new scheppach circular saw for  rewood.
According to the applicable product liability law the
manufacturer of this device is not liable for damages which
arise on or in connection with this device in case of:
•
improper handling
•
non-compliance with the instructions for use
•
repairs by third party, non authorized skilled workers
•
installation and replacement of non-original spare parts
•
improper use
•
failures of the electrical system due to the non-
compliance with the electrical speci cations and the
VDE 0100, DIN 57113 / VDE 0113 regulations
Recommendations:
Read the entire text of the operating instructions prior to the
assembly and operation of the device.
These operating instructions are intended to make it easier
for you to get familiar with your device and utilize its
intended possibilities of use.
The operating instructions contain important notes on how
to work safely, properly and economically with your
machine and how to avoid dangers, save repair costs,
reduce downtime, and increase the reliability and working
life of the machine.
In addition to the safety regulations contained herein, you
must in any case comply with the applicable regulations of
your country with respect to the operation of the machine.
Put the operating instructions in a clear plastic folder to
protect them from dirt and humidity, and store them near
the machine. The instructions must be read and carefully
observed by each operator prior to starting the work. Only
persons who have been trained in the use of the machine
and have been informed on the related dangers and risks
are allowed to use the machine. The required minimum
age must be met.
In addition to the safety notes contained in the present
operating instructions and the special regulations of your
country, the generally recognized technical rules for the
operation of wood working machines must be observed.
General Notes
•
When you unpack the device, check all parts for possible
transport damages. In case of complaints the supplier is
to be informed immediately.
•
Complaints received at a later date will not be acknow-
ledged.
•
Check the delivery for completeness.
•
Read the operating instructions to make yourself familiar
with the device prior to using it.
•
Only use original scheppach parts for accessories as well
as for wearing and spare parts. Spare parts are available
from your specialized dealer.
•
Specify our part numbers as well as the type and year of
construction of the device in your orders.
Safety Instructions
In these operating instructions we have marked the
places that have to do with your safety with this sign.
•
Please pass on safety notes and instructions to all those
who work on the machine.
•
The machine must only be used in technically perfect
condition in accordance with its designated use and the
instructions set out in the operating manual, and only by
safety-conscious persons who are fully aware of the risks
involved in operating the machine. Any functional
disorders, especially those affecting the safety of the
machine, should therefor be recti ed immediately.
•
Observe all safety instructions and warnings attached to
the machine.
•
See to it that safety instructions and warnings attached
to the machine are always complete and perfectly
legible.
•
The sawbench may not be used for cutting  re wood.
•
Caution when working: There is a danger to ngers and
hands from the rotating cutting tool.
•
Check all power supply lines. Do not use defective lines.
See „Electrical connection“.
•
Make sure that the machine stands stable on rm
ground.
•
Insure that the planing machine is set up in a stable
position on  rm ground.
•
Keep children away from the machine when it is
connected to the power supply.
•
Operating personnel must be at least 18 years of age.
Trainees must be at least 16 years of age, but may only
operate the machine under adult supervision.
•
Persons working on the machine may not be diverted
from their work.
•
The working space on the machine must be free of chips
and wood scrap.
•
Note the rotating direction of the motor and circular saw
blade. See remarks “Electrical connection”, page U5
(wall socket).
•
Fit only sharp, crack-free and undistorted circular saw
blades.
•
Circular saw blades made of super-high-speed steel
must not be used.
•
The safety mechanisms on the machine may not be
removed or rendered unusable.
•
The splitting wedge is an important safety feature. The
workpiece is fed through the splitting wedge, which
prevents the cut from closing behind the saw blade and
also prevents the workpiece from kicking back.
•
Always lower the protective cover over the workpiece for
each operation.
•
The cowl must stand horizontally above the saw blade
during all working procedures.
•
Always use the push-stick for longitudinal cutting of
narrow workpieces of less than 120 mm.
•
Always stop the machine and disconnect the mains plug
before remedying faults or removing jammed pieces of
wood.
•
Replace the blade-slot insert if it is damaged.
Disconnect
the mains plug!
•
Always switch off the motor, and disconnect the mains
plug before completing any conversions, adjustments,
measurements and repairs.
•
Use the
scheppach Exhaust System ha 3200 or ha 2600
for the exhaust removal of saw dust. The  ow velocity in
the suction nozzle must be 20 meters/sec.
