Richtlijnen:
– Bij dit apparaat kunnen geen accu’s worden gebruikt.
– Bij het niet langer gebruiken van het apparaat adviseren wij het apparaat los van de riem te
bewaren. Als u het apparaat gedurende langere tij d niet gebruikt, raden wij aan de batterij en te
verwij deren.
– Gebruikte batterij en horen niet bij het huisvuil. U bent wettelij k verplicht de batte-
rij en te verwij deren. Lever deze in bij uw elektrospeciaalzaak of uw lokale afvalver-
werkingspunt.
– De volgende symbolen vindt u op batterij en met schadelij ke sto en:
Pb = batterij bevat lood,
Cd = batterij bevat cadmium,
Hg = batterij bevat kwik.
– Verwij der het toestel conform het Besluit Afval van Elektrische en Elektronische
Apparaten 2002/96/EG – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). Voor na-
dere informatie kunt u zich richten tot de bevoegde instanties voor afvalverwij dering.
Aanbrengen van de riem
Vóór elke training moet u controleren of uw huid schoon en crème- en olievrij is. Alleen dan kan het
apparaat optimaal werken.
– Leg de riem met de elektroden naar u toe voor u neer.
– Bevochtig de elektroden en uw buik met water. Let erop, dat de elektrodevlakken gelij kmatig be-
vochtigd zij n om plaatselij ke spanningspieken op uw huid bij latere training te voorkomen.
– Plaats de riem zo om uw middel dat de elektroden op uw buik liggen. Sluit vervolgens de klitten
bandsluiting.
Let op dat u de riem voor een goed contact tussen de elektroden en huid strak omdoet, maar niet
insnoert.
Mocht de riem niet om uw taille passen, dan kunt u het meegeleverde verlengstuk gebruiken!
Waar mag de riem niet worden gebruikt:
– op het hoofd: dit kan krampaanvallen veroorzaken;
– bij de hals/halsslagader: dit kan een hartstilstand veroorzaken;
– bij de keelholte of het strottenhoofd: dit kan spierkrampen verrrozaken die kunnen leiden tot ver-
stikking;
– in de buurt van de borstkas: dit verhoogt eventueel het risico op boezemfi brilleren en kan leiden
tot een hartstilstand.
Waar mag de riem wél worden gebruikt:
Plaats de riem uitsluitend bij de buik. De navel
moet volledig afgedekt zij n.

Automatische uitschakeling
Als het apparaat na inschakeling niet wordt gebruikt, schakelt het zich na 5 minuten automatisch uit.
