Setting the clock format
The clock display used in standby mode and on the playing mode
screens can be set to 12 or 24 hour format. The selected format is then
also used when setting the alarms.
1. When the radio is in power on or standby mode, press and release
the Menu button to access the menu for the current mode.
2. Rotate the Tuning control knob until “CLOCK xx” appears on the
display, then press and release the Select button to enter the setting
and the setting of time format begins to ash.
3. Rotate the Tuning control knob to select either 12 or 24 hour
format. Press and release the Select button to conrm your choice of
clock format.
If the 12 hour clock format is chosen, the radio will then use the 12
hour clock for the setting of alarms, and will display a 12 hour clock
with an AM or PM indicator when in standby mode.
Setting the date format
1. When the radio is in power on or standby mode, press and release
the Menu button to access the menu for the current mode.
2. If this is the rst time you’re setting the date format, rotate the Tuning
control knob until “JAN--1” shows on the display. Press and release
the Select button to enter the date format setting.
3. Rotate the Tuning control knob to select your desired date format,
and then press the Select button to conrm the setting.
Setting the clock time manually
1. When the radio is in power on or standby mode, press and release
the Menu button to access the menu for the current mode.
2. Rotate the Tuning control knob until “CLOCK SET” appears on the
display, then press and release the Select button to enter the setting.
3. The hour setting on the display will begin ashing. Rotate the Tuning
control knob to select the desired hour, and press the Select button
to conrm the setting. After completion of the hour setting the minutes
digits will then ash, follow the above setting steps to set the minutes.
Setting the date manually
1. When the radio is in power on or standby mode, press and release
the Menu button to access the menu for the current mode.
2. Rotate the Tuning control knob until “DATE SET” appears on the
display, press and release the Select button to enter the setting.
3. The year setting on the display will begin ashing. Rotate the Tuning
control knob to select the desired year, and press the Select button
to conrm the setting. After completion of the year setting the month
will ash, follow the above setting steps to set the desired month, the
date will then ash, follow the above setting steps to set the desired
date.
