You can adjust the dialling volume according to:
◆ Your requirements and preferences
◆ The environmental conditions in which you are
using the phone
During a telephone conversation, you can temporarily
mute the microphone on your phone.
Example:
You wish to talk to someone else in the
room without your correspondent hearing.
In Standby mode, press the volume
button on the left side to adjust the
loudness.
1. Press C for a while during a
telephone conversation.
Result:
The indicator and the
time spent in the mute mode are
displayed (if the Call time option is
on; see page 54).
Your correspondent can no longer
hear you, but you can hear your
correspondent.
2. Press C for a while again when you
wish to resume the conversation with
your correspondent.
Result:
The indicator disappears.
Adjusting the Earpiece Volume
If you have difficulty hearing your correspondent
during a telephone conversation, you can adjust the
volume as required.
During a conversation, press the volume
button on the left side to adjust the
loudness.
