FUNCTION
Before Playback
• Press the TV/AUX button to set your remote to control your TV.
Press the POWER button on the remote to turn on the TV.
Then press the TV/VIDEO button of the TV to set the TV an
external input mode.
After plugging in the player, the first time you press
the DVD POWER button, this screen comes up :
If you want to select the language, press a NUM-
BER button. (This screen will only appear the very
first time you plug in the player.)

Press the OPEN/CLOSE button.
The STANDBY indicator light goes out and the tray opens.

Place a disc gently into the tray with the disc’s
label facing up.

Press the PLAY/PAUSE button or
OPEN/CLOSE button to close the disc tray.

Connecting to a Speaker
• Method 1 (2 Channel Sound)
Connect the player to two front speakers (RF, LF).
• Method 2 (3 Channel Sound)
Connect the player to two front speakers and a
center speaker (RF, C, LF).
• Method 3 (5 Channel Sound)
Connect the player to five speakers
(RF, C, LF, RS, LS).
• Method 4 (5.1 Channel Sound)
Connect the player to five speakers (RF, C, LF,
RS, LS) and an active subwoofer.
