– Engages the 48-Volt Phantom
power supply to microphone pre-amps.

43 MONO OUT
The Left and Right main Mix outputs are
summed together to a monaural signal and sent out this
connector.
44 EQ IN/OUT
When pressed in, the Amber LED will illu-
minate indicating that the Graphic Equalizer is active.
45 AUX RETURN 2
This control knob is used to adjust
the level of the signal connected to the AUX RETURN 2
inputs.

EQ TO AUX -
When pressed in, the onboard Graphic
Equalizer is switched from the main mix to the AUX 1
output.

SOLO (AUX RETURN 2
) -
Back-lit LED switch used to
assign the AUX RETURN 2 bus to the SOLO bus.
48 +48 PHANTOM POWER LED
– Indicates that the 48 Volt
Phantom Power is on.
49 POWER LED
– Indicates the MDR16 is powered up.
50 SOLO LED
– Indicates SOLO is selected.
51 PFL LED
– Indicates the SOLO is in PFL (Pre-Fader Level)
mode.
52 OUTPUT METER
Twelve-segment display with VU bal-
listics indicates main Mix level.

DSP AUX 1 -
This control knob is used to adjust the level
of the internal DSP effect in the AUX 1 outputs
DSP ON –
This push switch is used to engage the
onboard DSP effects.
55 DSP PRE-SET SELECT
– Used to switch between the 8
pre-sets of the internal DSP effects processor.
56 SOLO Switch (3/4 Bus)
– Back-lit LED switch used to
assign the 3/4 Bus to the SOLO bus.
57 SOLO/PFL Switch
– Used to change the operating mode
of the SOLO bus from SOLO to PFL (Pre Fader Listen).
58 3/4 TO MIX Switch
When engaged, the LED lights and
the input channels which are assigned to 3/4 will be
mixed together with the Main Left and Right Outputs.
59 MIX MUTE Switch
When the switch pressed, the red
LED lights indicating the Main Left and Right outputs are
fully attenuated.
60 SOLO DEFEAT Switch
This global control, back-lit
switch is used to disconnect all channels from the SOLO
bus.
61 MIX L R FADER
- Used to control the overall volume of
the Left and Right main Mix outputs.
62 HEADPHONE JACK
– Connect stereo headphones here.

63 C ROOM + HEADPHONE
– Adjusts the volume of the
control room speakers or headphones.

– A rotary control knob used to set the
overall volume of the SOLO bus.

– Switches between the main Mix and the 2
Track in the Control Room output.
66 OUTPUT 4 FADER
– Used to control the overall volume
of the bus 4 mix output.
67 OUTPUT 3 FADER
– Used to control the overall volume
of the bus 3 mix output.
68 OUTPUT 2 FADER
– Used to control the overall volume
of the bus 2 mix output.
69 OUTPUT 1 FADER
– Used to control the overall volume
of the bus 1 mix output.
70 1/2 TO MIX
When engaged, the LED lights and the
input channels which are assigned to 1/2 will be mixed
together with the Main Left and Right Outputs.
71 SOLO (1/2 Bus)
– Back-lit LED switch used to assign the
1/2 Bus to the SOLO bus.
DSP 3/4 –
This control knob is used to adjust the
level of the internal DSP effect in the Bus 3/4 out-
puts

– Back-lit LED switch used to
assign the AUX RETURN 1 to the SOLO bus.
DSP 1/2 -
This control knob is used to adjust the
level of the internal DSP effect in the Bus 1/2 out-
puts

– LED light illuminates when the signal
sent to the internal DSP is clipped.

– Used to mix in level of the
external effects connected to the Aux RETURN 1 inputs.
