7 Montare il tubo vapore attorno all’elemento di riscaldamento in modo che quest’ultimo si
trovi al centro.
8 Collocare il vassoio sulla base.
9 Il vassoio si aggancia solo in una direzione, per lasciar spazio al pannello di controllo. Evita
che i liquidi provenienti dal cibo raggiungano l’elemento e il serbatoio.
10 Le maniglie del cestello sono indicate con i numeri 1, 2 e 3. Potete usare 1, 2 o 3 cestelli alla
volta.
a) Montare il cestello 1 sopra al vassoio.
b) Mettere il cibo nel cestello.
c) Montare il cestello 2 sopra al cestello 1.
d) Mettere il cibo nel cestello.
e) Montare il cestello 3 sopra al cestello 2.
f) Mettere il cibo nel cestello.
g) Montare il coperchio.

11 I liquidi provenienti dai cestelli superiori gocciolano in quelli inferiori. Non mettere cibi con
aromi delicati sotto quelli con aromi forti, oppure le verdure sotto i cibi grassi.
C CIRCOLAZIONE
12 Per consentire la circolazione del vapore:
a) disporre nei cestelli i cibi senza comprimerli;
b) quando possibile, disporre il cibo su un unico strato;
c) lasciare dello spazio fra i pezzi di cibo;
d) nel disporre il cibo nel cestello a strati, lasciare dello spazio fra i pezzi di ciascuno strato
per consentire la circolazione del vapore attraverso gli strati.
C UNIFORMITÀ DI COTTURA
13 Per ottenere una cottura uniforme:
a) cercare di tagliare il cibo in parti di uguale dimensione all’interno dello stesso cestello;
b) porre più vicino al serbatoio i pezzi più grossi, o i cibi con tempi di cottura più lunghi;
c) porre più lontano dal serbatoio i pezzi più piccoli, o i cibi con tempi di cottura più brevi.
C ECCESSIVA COTTURA
14 Non preoccuparsi di cuocere troppo i cibi: la cottura a vapore è un metodo di cottura
abbastanza delicato e qualche minuto in più in generale ha poca importanza.
15 Non stracuocere il pesce, altrimenti sembra gomma da masticare e con il sapore del cartone.
C COTTURA
16 Inserire la spina nella presa di corrente.
17 Ruotare il timer in senso orario per impostarlo sul tempo necessario.
18 La spia si accende.
19 Il vapore inizierà a riempire i cestelli.
20 Quando il timer tornerà a 0 si sentirà un segnale acustico e la vaporiera si spegnerà.
