ELECTRONIC RPM REGULATION
The rpm can be adjusted by rotating the wheel of speed control (3).
The choice of speed depends on the characteristics of the abrasive
disc and the material to be worked.
FITTING AND REPLACING ABRASIVE DISCS
This can be done in one of two ways:
1. Lock the wheel spindle (5) by pressing button (4), while at the
same time rotating the disc pad (12) until it locks position.
Unscrew the locking ring nut (11) using the pin wrench (13),
replace the abrasive disc, re-tighten the locking ring. Unlock the
wheel spindle by releasing the button and rotate the disc pad by
hand to ensure that it runs freely.
WARNING: never press the button to lock the grinder orpas
until the tool has stoppedmoving and is perfectly stationary;
the gear box or the push button pin could be broken and the
guarantee would be invalidated.
2. Lock the wheel spindle (5) by inserting the 17 mm spanner (13)
in the notch in the spindle between the disc pad and the gearbox
instead of using the lock button. Then proceed as above.
Tools other than those mentioned must not be used for
slackening for tightening purposes.
