SICHERHEITSHINWEISE:

P Das Gerät entspricht den EU-Richtlinien 73/23/EWG und 89/336/EWG.

E Gerät nur an Wechselstrom – mit Spannung gemäß dem Typenschild am

Gerät – anschließen.

E Sollte Ihre Haus-/Wohnungsinstallation mit einer Fehlerstrom-Schutz-

schaltung ausgestattet sein, ist sicherzustellen, daß es sich um einen puls-

stromsensitiven Schutzschalter handelt.

E Ein Elektrogerät ist kein Kinderspielzeug. Das Gerät deshalb außer Reich-

weite von Kindern benutzen und aufbewahren. Anschlußleitung nicht

herunterhängen lassen.

E Das Gerät nicht unbeaufsichtigt lassen, während es am Netz angeschlossen

ist.

E Elektro-Wärmegeräte werden heiß. Benutzen Sie deshalb nur vorhandene

Griffe und weisen Sie auch andere Benutzer auf mögliche Gefahren hin

(z. B. austretendes heißes Wasser oder Dampf; besonders zu beachten

beim Vertikalbügeln).

Niemals am Körper befindliche Kleidungsstücke behandeln.

E Den Netzstecker ziehen:

– vor jedem Füllen oder Entleeren des Gerätes,

– vor jedem (auch kurzfristigen) Verlassen des Raumes,

– vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege,

– nach dem Gebrauch.

E Stecker nicht an der Leitung aus der Steckdose ziehen.

E Nur ordnungsgemäße Verlängerungskabel verwenden.

E Gerät nicht in Wasser tauchen.

E Ein elektrisches Haushaltsgerät ist nicht in Betrieb zu nehmen, wenn:

das Gerät, die Zuleitung oder die Knickschutztülle beschädigt ist,

– das Gerät einmal heruntergefallen ist,

– das Gerät offensichtlich undicht ist.

In diesem Fall das Gerät zur Reparatur an eine Rowenta-Kundendienst-

stelle schicken (Adressen im beiliegenden Service-Spiegel).

E Reparaturen an Elektrogeräten dürfen nur von Fachkräften durchgeführt

werden. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche Gefahren

für den Benutzer entstehen.

E Eine defekte oder beschädigte Zuleitung darf nur von einer Rowenta

Kundendienst-Stelle ausgetauscht werden, um Gefährdungen zu ver-

meiden.

E Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet oder falsch bedient (siehe auch

„DAS SOLLTEN SIE WISSEN“), kann keine Haftung für eventuelle Schäden

übernommen werden.

P Am Ende der Lebensdauer ist das Gerät einer ordnungsgemäßen Entsor-

gung zuzuführen.
