ROTWILD USER MANUAL
correctly before every ride.
Tyres
Inadequate tyre profile or the wrong tyre
pressure may lead to a fall or accident in
which you and/or other persons may be
injured. So always check your tyre profile
and air pressure before every ride.
For reason of safety, ROTWILD recom-
mends that only ROTWILD accessori-
es and replacement parts specifically
approved for your bike are installed. In
other cases, ROTWILD may not be held
liable for any claims, even when the parts
used are approved by an official technical
testing organisation or certification by a
public office.
Potential accident risk
A defective technical condition of your
bike may lead to damage that is a poten-
tial cause of falls or accidents and may
lead to injury of yourself and others.
Falls or accidents
Following an accident or fall, please
make sure that no parts of your bike are
bent, damaged or broken. If your bike
has been damaged in a fall or accident, it
should no longer be used. Any damage is
a potential cause for loss of control over
your bike. This could lead to a fall or ac-
cident in which you and/or other persons
may be injured.
Any damage should be repaired immedi-
ately. If you are unable to perform the re-
pairs yourself, please contact a qualified
professional repair workshop.
Maximum permitted overall weight / load
carrying
• Please make sure before riding your
bike that the maximum permitted
overall weight of your ROTWILD bike
of 120 kg (incl. bike, rider and gear) is
not exceeded.
• Do not transport any loads/bags or
similar on your handlebars. This may
lead to uncontrolled steering errors and
endanger you and other road users.
Clothing
Please consider the following when selec-
ting cycling kit:
• Wear light coloured and noticeable
clothing to ensure that you are clearly
visible in traffic.
• Do not wear loose clothing that could
catch in the chain, on the handlebars
or in the wheels.
• Wear cycling glasses to protect your eyes.
Risk of injury
The wearing of suitable clothing, glasses
and a safety helmet reduces the risk of
injury while cycling.
Modications & add-on accessories
Before you equip your ROTWILD bike
with any accessories, please inform
yourself whether these are permitted and
are approved for use in traffic. Safety-
relevant components, such as handlebars,
stems, seat posts, forks etc. should only
be installed or replaced by your ROTWILD
dealer. The ROTWILD bikes are not de-
signed for fitting a child seat or to pull a
child buggy. As for all T1 models lighting
systems, mud guards, a rack and a side
stand can be installed to the particular
mountings. Please contact your ROTWILD
dealer for more information.
Transporting your bike with carrier systems
When using a roof or rear bike carrier,
the bike must be transported standing
upright on its wheels.
Roof carriers
Make sure that all parts that are loosely
attached (e.g. drinking bottle) are remo-
ved before transporting your bike. Carrier
