• In order to remove the bag, fold the handle upwards and then open the upper part of the appliance

until the stop.

• Check the sealing seam. A correct seam should be a smooth straight line without wrinkles and

showing no structure anymore.

• Pull the mains plug after each use and bring the upper part of the appliance into parking position.

Note: You can see the progress of the function in the status display.

B.) Manual vacuuming and sealing

ATTENTION: With this function, the air is not completely

extracted, thus there is no complete vacuum and the storage

time of the food is reduced. The table “storage times” of this

manual does not apply in this case!

1.) Preparing the appliance for operation

• Completely unwind the power cord from the cord storage.

• Put the plug in a socket. All pilot lamps light up for a short time.

• For unlocking the upper part, fold the handle upwards.

• Open the upper part up to the stop.

• The appliance is in standby mode, the pilot lamp above or below the button “Lebensmittel“ lights

up.

• Place the ﬁlled bag with the open end below the stop

angle in the vacuum chamber.

Note: You can check the correct position of the bag

in the inspection window.

• Then close the upper part of the casing.

• For locking the upper part of the casing, fold the handle down (to position “down“). As soon as

the handle is in the correct position, the ﬁrst pilot lamp of the status display lights up. Now the

appliance is ready for operation.

2.) Selecting sealing time

• By pressing the button “Lebensmittel“, the requested

function can be set. The respective pilot lamp shows

the selected setting.

• For dry food, select .

• For humid food, select .
