Working with the programmes
On the basis of two examples (programme “Dampfdruck 2“ and programme “Slow Cook“) the method of
working with the appliance is described.
Programme “Dampfdruck 2“
• The programme “Dampfdruck 2“ is working with steam pressure. This means that the steam outlet
valve of the lid must be closed. Pay attention, that the button for the steam release valve is not pushed.
• Fill the cooking pot with food. Pay attention to the minimum resp. maximum filling quantity.
NOTE: When working with the steaming insert, place the rack and the steaming basket in the pot and
fill in at least 650 ml of water.
• Select programme “Dampfdruck 2“ with the rotary switch.
• The symbol for the selected programme lights up blue in the operation display.
Each selection of a programme with the rotary switch is confirmed with a
signal tone.
NOTE: If no other button is pressed within 60 seconds after turning the rotary
switch or pressing a button, the appliance switches off again.
• The display shows the status
“Kochen mit Deckel – mit Dampfdruck”
(cooking with lid – with steam pressure)
This means that the pressure release valve must be closed.
• Place the lid at an angle on the base unit. The display alternately shows the
information “AUF“(open) resp. “ZU“(closed) and a signal tone sounds.
• Turn the lid, until the lid is flush with the casing of the base unit. A signal tone
sounds and the information “AUF“(open) resp. “ZU“(closed) in the display
turns off.
• If necessary, change the setting for the duration:
a.) For changing the duration, press the button “Laufzeit“ for choosing
between 3 different durations.
b.) For an individual adjustment, press the button “+“ for increasing resp. “-“
for reducing the time.
Note: By pressing the button “+“ or “-“ continuously, the duration can
be changed in 10-minute increments.
• When all parameters are set, press the button “Start/Pause/Stopp“ for starting.
Several signal tones sound.
