Thus, act with caution:
• We recommend using pot cloths and appropriate grill cutlery for protection
against fat splatters and steam!
• Do not use the appliance’s upper side as depositing rack or working top as
it will get hot when operating the appliance! As protection against re, do
generally not put objects made of paper, plastic, fabric or other inamma-
ble material on hot surfaces!
• Do not cover the grill plate/heating elements with aluminium foil!
• Always take care that the temperature regulator is entirely connected to
the connecting socket before plugging the appliance into the outlet.
• Only use the original temperature regulator that comes with the appliance.
• During the grilling procedure the grill plate must always rest inside the
synthetic casing.
• Overheated fats and oils can iname. Therefore, food containing fats and
oils may only be prepared under supervision! Also bread toasted too long
can catch re!
• Do not transport the appliance when hot. Appliance and accessories must
have been completely cooled down before cleaning or moving them!
• Observe the following when setting up the appliance:
○ Place the appliance on a heat-resistant, stable and even surface
(no varnished surfaces, no table cloths etc.).
○ Place it beyond children’s reach.
○ Leave a ventilation distance of at least 10 cm to all sides and 1 m above
the appliance to avoid damage by heat or fat splatters and to grant an
unobstructed work area. Unhindered air supply has to be ensured.
○ Do not operate the appliance in the vicinity of sources of heat (oven,
gas ame etc.) or in explosive environments, where inammable liquids
or gases are located.
• Attention! Hazard of re! This appliance is not qualied for installation.
• Keep the temperature regulator dry and preserve it from vibration to avoid
damage.
• The appliance must be protected via a residual current protective device;
its tripping current must not be over 30 mA.
• In case you connect the appliance to an extension cord, make sure that …

• Never pour cold water on the grill plate during or shortly after use. Neither

• This appliance is not qualied for usage with barbeque coal or other fuels!
• Prior to disconnecting the temperature regulator from the appliance, always
make sure that the grill has been switched off and unplugged from the outlet.
• Do not use the appliance as space heater.
• Pull the power plug after each use for safe switch-off.
