Important notes
• Makesurethatthemainsvoltageisidenticalwiththedetailsindicatedontheratinglabel.
Only connect unit to an AC outlet.
• Onlyusetheapplianceforapplicationdescribedherein,improperapplicationvoidsallwar-
ranty claims. The appliance is not designed for commercial use.
• Onlyusepotsorpanswithsound,evenbottomandsuitablediameter(alsore-proofglassor
chinaware). If the pot bottom is uneven or too small, you will waste energy. The cooking plate
and the pot bottom must always be clean and dry.

case any plastic objects, aluminium foil, sugar or dishes containing sugar accidentally happen
to melt on the cooking surface, immediately shove them away from the hot cooking zone with
a cleaning scraper. Never use oven sprays or stain-removers for cleaning! Special cleaning
agents for the Ceran

surface are available on the market.

against breakage by falling objects.
• Anydamagesresultingfromnon-observanceofthesesafeguardswillnotbecoveredbywar-
ranty.

• Donotimmersetheapplianceandthemainspluginwaterforcleaningit.Makesurenowater
or steam may infiltrate the appliance from below either.
• Pullthemainsplugaftereachuse.Neverletthecablehangdownovertheedgeofthework
surface so that the appliance cannot be pulled down accidentally.
