Saving Your Settings (Setups)

You can save the V-Piano Grand’s various settings as a “setup” and

switch between different setups as appropriate for the songs you’re

playing.

The setups you save can be backed up to USB memory (sold

separately) (p. 64).

The current settings will be lost when you recall another setup.

If you want to keep the current settings, save them to a setup

before you continue (p. 49).

Hold down the [Function] button and press the [F1]

button.

The number of the currently selected setup will appear.

* You can also view the setup number by changing the utility screen’s

“1. System–Tone Button Mode” (p. 59) setting to “SETUP.”

Turn the [Value] dial to select the desired setup.

Once again hold down the [Function] button and press

the [F1] button to return to the tone screen.

A setup contains the following settings.

• The V-Piano Grand’s tone (Refer to “Customizing the V-Piano

Grand’s Sounds” (p. 41).)

• Tone assignments for the [Tone 1]–[Tone 4] buttons (p. 30)

• Pedal assignments (Refer to “4. Pedal Group” (p. 57).)

• Settings for the MIDI messages that are transmitted (Refer to “5.

MIDI Group” (p. 57).)

• “Panning Width” (p. 59) setting.

• Transpose setting (p. 35).

By default, the following settings are stored as system settings;

however you are free to change this so that they are stored in a

setup.

• Equalizer settings (p. 33)

• Ambience settings (p. 32)
