Mastering Tools: Parameterlijst
● COMP (Compressor) *2: Comprimeert het volledige output-signaal wanneer het input volume een bepaald niveau
overschrijdt.
Effect On/Off (Effect On/Off) OFF, ON Schakelt het compressor-effects in/uit.
Low Threshold (Low Threshold) -24–0 dB Bepaalt bij welk volume de compressor voor de lage frequentieband in
werking treedt.
Mid Threshold (Middle Threshold) -24–0 dB Bepaalt bij welk volume de compressor voor de middenfrequentieband in
werking treedt.
Hi Threshold (High Threshold) -24–0 dB Bepaalt bij welk volume de compressor voor de hoge frequentieband in
werking treedt.
Low Ratio (Low Ratio) 1:1.0–1:16.0, 1:INF Bepaalt volgens welke verhouding de output in de lage frequentieband
wordt onderdrukt als het input level het low threshold level overschrijdt.
Mid Ratio (Middle Ratio) 1:1.0–1:16.0, 1:INF
Bepaalt volgens welke verhouding de output in de middenfrequentieband
wordt onderdrukt als het input level het middle threshold level overschrijdt.
High Ratio (High Ratio) 1:1.0–1:16.0, 1:INF
Bepaalt volgens welke verhouding de output in de hoge frequentieband wordt
onderdrukt als het input level het High threshold level overschrijdt.
Low Attack (Low Attack) 0–100 ms
Bepaalt na hoeveel tijd de low frequency band compressor in werking treedt
nadat het input level het low threshold level heeft overschreden.
Mid Attack (Middle Attack) 0–100 ms
Bepaalt na hoeveel tijd de middle frequency band compressor in werking treedt
nadat het input level het middle threshold level heeft overschreden.
High Attack (High Attack) 0–100 ms
Bepaalt na hoeveel tijd de high frequency band compressor in werking treedt
nadat het input level het High threshold level heeft overschreden.
Low Release (Low Release) 50–5000 ms
Bepaalt hoelang de low frequency band compressor blijft doorwerken nadat
het input level weer onder het low threshold level is gezakt.
Mid Release (Middle Release) 50–5000 ms
Bepaalt hoelang de middle frequency band compressor blijft doorwerken nadat het
input level weer onder het middle threshold level is gezakt.
High Release (High Release) 50–5000 ms
Bepaalt hoelang de high frequency band compressor blijft doorwerken nadat
het input level weer onder het High threshold level is gezakt.
● MIX (Mixer): Regelt het volume van de lage, midden- en hoge frequentiebanden, en mixt ze.
Low Level (Low Level) -80–+6 dB Bepaalt het volume in de lage frequentieband nadat het signaal door de
expander en de compressor is gegaan.
Mid Level (Middle Level) -80–+6 dB Bepaalt het volume in de middenfrequentieband nadat het signaal door de
expander en de compressor is gegaan.
High Level (High Level) -80–+6 dB Bepaalt het volume in de hoge frequentieband nadat het signaal door de
expander en de compressor is gepasseerd.
● LMT (Limiter): Voorkomt vervorming door sterke signalen te onderdrukken.
Effect On/Off (Effect On/Off) OFF, ON Schakelt het limiter-effect in/uit.
Threshold (Threshold) -24–0 dB Bepaalt bij welk volume de limiter in werking treedt.
Attack (Attack) 0–100 ms Bepaalt na hoeveel tijd de limiter in werking treedt nadat het input level het
threshold level heeft overschreden.
Release (Release) 50–5000 ms Bepaalt hoelang de limiter nog blijft doorwerken nadat het input level weer
onder het threshold level is gezakt.
● OUT (Output): Instellingen voor de globale output.
Level (Level) -80– +6 dB Bepaalt het globale volume nadat het signaal door de limiter is gegaan.
Soft Clip (Soft Clip) OFF, ON Als dit op ON staat, wordt de vervorming die kan optreden wanneer het
compressor/limiter-effect te sterk is, onderdrukt.
Dither (Dither) OFF, 8–24 bit Zorgt voor een vlotte overgang wanneer het geluid verdwijnt.
*1 Als “Low Type” of “High Type” op “SHELV” (Shelving Type) staat, dan is de instelling voor “Lo Q “of “High Q” ongeldig.
*2 Bij Compressor (COMP) wordt het level automatisch optimaal aangepast met de instellingen voor “Threshold” en “Ratio”. Als u een
relatief lange “Attack”-tijd instelt, kan er vervorming optreden. Daarom is er een marge van -6 dB voorzien. Regel het Mixer (MIX) level
voor zover nodig.
