Mastering Tools: Parameterlijst
Mastering Tools is eigenlijk een compressor die het geluid opsplitst in verschillende frequentiebanden om hun volumes
gelijk te trekken.
Parameter (volledige naam) Instelling Functie
● EQ (Equalizer): 4-bands equalizer.
Effect On/Off (Effect On/Off) OFF, ON Schakelt het equalizer-effect in/uit.
Input Gain (Input Gain) -24–+12 dB
Bepaalt het globale volume voordat het signaal door de equalizer gaat.
Low Type (Low Type) SHELV, PEAKING Bepaalt het type van low frequency band equalizer (Shelving of peaking).
Low Gain (Low Gain) -12–+12 dB Bepaalt de gain (versterking of verzwakking) voor de lage tonen.
Low Freq (Low Frequency) 20 Hz–2.00 kHz Bepaalt de centrale frequentie voor de lage tonen.
Low Q (Low Q) *1 0.3–16.0 Bepaalt het bereik voor de gain-regeling rondom de frequentie van “Low
Freq.” Hoe hoger de waarde, hoe smaller het bereik.
Low-Mid Gain (Low Middle Gain) -12–+12 dB Bepaalt de gain (versterking of verzwakking) voor de lage middentonen.
Low-Mid Freq (Low Middle Frequency) 20 Hz–8.00 kHz Bepaalt de centrale frequentie voor de lage middentonen.
Low-Mid Q (Low Middle Q) 0.3–16.0 Bepaalt het bereik voor de gain-regeling rondom de frequentie van “Low-
Mid Freq.” Hoe hoger de waarde, hoe smaller het bereik.
High-Mid Gain (High Middle Gain) -12–+12 dB Bepaalt de gain (versterking of verzwakking) voor de hoge middentonen.

High-Mid Q (High Middle Q) 0.3–16.0 Bepaalt het bereik voor de gain-regeling rondom de frequentie van “High-
Mid Freq.” Hoe hoger de waarde, hoe smaller het bereik.
High Type (High Type) SHELV, PEAKING Bepaalt het type van High frequency band equalizer (Shelving of peaking).
High Gain (High Gain) -12–+12 dB Bepaalt de gain (versterking of verzwakking) voor de hoge tonen.
High Freq (High Frequency) 1.40–2.00 kHz Bepaalt de centrale frequentie voor de hoge tonen.
High Q (High Q) *1 0.3–16.0 Bepaalt het bereik voor de gain-regeling rondom de frequentie van “High
Freq.” Hoe hoger de waarde, hoe smaller het bereik.
Output Level (Output Level) -24–+12 dB Bepaalt het volume na de equalizer.
● B CUT (Bass Cut Filter):
Effect On/Off (Effect On/Off) OFF, ON Schakelt het bass cut filter-effect in/uit.
Bass Cut Freq (Bass Cut Frequency)
THRU, 20 Hz–2.00 kHz
Bepaalt de frequentie waarbij ongewenste laagfrequente geluiden (zoals
pop noise) worden afgesneden.
● ENH (Enhancer): Dit effect lijnt het geluid duidelijk af en plaatst het op de voorgrond.
Effect On/Off (Effect On/Off) OFF, ON Schakelt het enhancer-effect in/uit.
Sensitivity (Sensitivity) 0–100 Regelt de manier waarop de enhancer wordt toegepast t.o.v. de input-
signalen.
Enhancer Freq (Enhancer Frequency) 1.00 –10.0 kHz Bepaalt bij welke frequentie het enhancer-effect in werking treedt. Het
effect wordt merkbaar in de frequenties boven de frequentie die u hier
instelt.
Mix Level (Mix Level) -24–+12 dB Bepaalt hoeveel signaal met verschoven fase, uit het gebied bepaald door
“Frequency”, er met de input wordt gemixt.
● IN (Input): Bepaalt de frequentiepunten waar het originele geluid wordt opgesplitst, zodat de expander/compressor
onafhankelijk kan worden toegepast op de lage, midden- en hoge frequentiegebieden.

Bepaalt het globale volume vóór de expander/compressor.
