Digital read out on the parallel fence

Put the digital read-out onto the parallel fence support block using the 2 holes already drilled (1).

Now put the aluminum profile (2) holding the magnetic strip onto the saw table at 1 mm below the

table’s front edge (fig.25). Make sure the sensor is put in the middle of the magnetic strip, and the

distance between strip and sensor is set at 0,5 mm maximum (fig.26)

Make sure the sensor stays at maximum 0,5 mm over the entire length of the magnetic strip.

Height and width adjustments are simple: flip the parallel fence cast guide block over and loosen the

bolts (fig.27).

Make sure all bolts are tightened after adjustment is done.

Calibration of the fence is done as follows:

Put the aluminium fence profile up against the saw blade and push both buttons F and SET in order to

set the reader at 0.

Now move the parallel fence a few mm to the right and set the stop ring (2) up against the cast bloc of

the fence and tighten the screw (fig.28) thus preventing the fence from touching the saw blade in use.

It is recommended to carry out this “calibration” each time a different or sharpened saw blade is put in

place.
