It is also possible to define a transmitter control for adjusting
the trim pre-set values for the upper and lower speed range;
this is selected in the appropriate field. Mark the field, and the
transmitter control / switch select menu appears. The trans-
mitter control can then be selected in the familiar manner. The
selected control is then displayed in the ‘Transmitter control’
field.
The two screen shots below show possible settings of the
‘Multi-motor’ option for both display levels.
NOTE:
If this function is active, you must assign the switch for ‘Motor
of
f
’ in the ‘Motor off’ menu.
The values set in the ‘Motor off’ menu are now invalid, as they
are supplanted by the values selected in the ‘Multi-motor’
menu.
NOTE:
If you enter multiple motors (two to max. four) when selecting
the model type, set-up windows for the same number of
motors will appear in various options.
19. MODEL MENUS (MODEL HELICOPTERS)
This Section analyses the settings which are specific to model
helicopters, i.e. it only covers those options which have not
already been described in Section 17 (see page 54). Activate
the Model menu by touching the field showing the pictur
e of
the model aircraft in the main picture screen. This calls up the
overview of the Model menus. The Select menu varies accor-
ding to the model type you choose. The screen shot below
shows an overview of the Model menus for model helicopters.
The following section describes the options which have not
already been analysed in these instructions. We will use as our
example the Model menu for a helicopter equipped with the
most popular ‘H-3 (120°)’ swashplate type.
Coll. curve = Collective pitch curve settings
Throttle curve = Throttle curve settings
Acceleration = Acceleration, throttle / collective pitch
function
Auto-rotation = Auto-rotation settings
Swashplate Mix. = Swashplate mixer
Throttle / motor Mix= Swashplate -> throttle mixer
Coll. -> needle = Collective pitch -> needle valve mixers
Coll. -> tail = Tail rotor mixer
Gyro = Gyro settings
Speed gov. = Rotational speed governor (regulator)
* CND HOLD = Hold flight mode (CND HOLD); see des
cription in Part 1, Section 16.18,
