50%.
Select the ‘fine-tuning’ settings
It is possible to program a transmitter control to be used for
fine adjustments to the aileron dif
ferential settings (fine-
tuning); changes are carried out in the ‘Fine-tuning’ frame.
Mark the appropriate field and select your preferred trans-
mitter control in the transmitter control / switch select menu
which then appears.
The current curve for the fine-tuning option is also dis-
played on-screen.

18.2 WING FLAP SETTINGS
This menu is
used for ente-
ring the set-
tings for all the
inboar
d wing
flaps. If your
model featur
es
two pairs of
inboard flaps
(see diagram
above) this menu applies to the inboard brake flaps and spoi-
ler flaps, which are located adjacent to each other. The up and
down travel of each control surface can be set individually at
this point, while an Offset function allows you to fine-tune the
travels. As with many functions, it is also possible to determine
whether the settings are to apply to all flight modes (Glob) or
only to the currently activated flight mode (Sepa). If you wish,
you can program a mixer which causes the spoilers to be
deployed when the brake flaps are operated.
Mark the ‘Flap settings’ option in the Model menu. The screen
display now looks like this:
You can adjust the travel individually for each control surface
and each direction of movement, using the method already
described repeatedly in this manual. The same applies to the
Offset function; the value is simply entered as a percentage
using the arrow buttons.
The adjustment range for up-travel and down-travel is -120%
to +120% for both control surfaces; the default setting is
100%. The software automatically corrects the prefix for the
second wing flap if you reverse the prefix when programming
the travel of a paired control surface.
The effects and methods of setting the ‘Glob’ or ‘Sepa’ modes
have already been described; a corresponding button field is
assigned to each frame.
The brake flap mixer (BrFl -> flap) causes the spoiler flaps to
follow the movement when the brake flaps are deployed. The
mixer must first be activated in the ‘Status’ line, as already
described. ‘OFF’ or ‘ON’ will now be displayed in the corres-
ponding field, according to the position of the assigned
switch.
You can now select the appropriate switch fields and set the
mode of the flight modes in the time-honoured way; you can
also assign a switch, set the degree of following for each
direction of travel separately, and program an Offset.
