17.CD SLOT
18.CD EJECT BUTTON
Press the EJECT button to remove the CD.
19.PAUSE BUTTON
During “PLAY”, press (19) ‘PAU’ button to “PAUSE”. Press it again to resume play.
20.SCAN BUTTON (Preview all Tracks)
When this button is pressed, ‘SCAN’ indication is displayed and the 10 first seconds of
each track of the disc are played.
When this button is presse longer than 2 sec. in MP3 mode, D-SCAN is displayed and
scan operation is activated only in the current directory.
21.REPEAT BUTTON 'RPT'
When this button is pressed, ‘RPT’ indication is displayed and play of the selected track
will be continually repeated until the Track repeat mode is cancelled by pressing ‘RPT’
button again.
When this button is pressed longer than 2 sec. in MP3 mode, ‘D-RPT’ is displayed and
the music of current directory are played and selected by track up/down key.
22.RANDOM BUTTON 'SHF'
When this button is pressed, ‘SHF’ indication is displayed and each track of the disc are
played in random instead of normal progression. To cancel RANDOM mode, press
‘SHF’ button (22) again.
When this button is pressed longer than 2 sec., in MP3 mode, ‘D-SHF’ is displayed and
the Random operation is activated only in the current directory.
23. POWER ON INDICATOR
To indicate when the unit is ON.
HOW TO SELECT MP3 FILES
“AMS” is assigned as Digital Audio Mode selection key in single CDP mode.
When pressed more than 2 seconds, it is activated as selecting each mode
of Digital Audio.
“Searching track directly” ----- “Searching File or directory” ----- “Searching File Name”
1.“Searching track directly” in digital Audio CD and Normal CD.
The unit searches the track selected by following key.
M1-M6 / RADIO SCAN 1 / DSP.(SOUND) / MUTE / CLOCK (or MODE).
2.“Searching File or directory” by file directory structure in digital Audio CD.
The unit “searches file or directory” in file directory structure by “::/99” key.
The selected file can be played by pushing “BAND(ENTER) key.
3.“Searching File Name” in Digital Audio CD.
The unit searches files and directories which have the same character which is input-
ted by the user. The unit shows these sorted files and directories by “::/99 ” key.
The selected file can be played by pushing “BAND(ENTER) key.
* Digital Audio button assigned
M5 and M6 is assigned as 10 TRACK when normal play and Searching File or directory.
