1 SAFETY NOTICE
1.1 General safety
The following pictograms can be used in this Instructions to
specifically draw certain points to your attention:

1.2 Intended use
The time clock is an electronic device for use in conjunction
with the Remeha Avanta Plus boilers.
This time clock with Day/Week programmes enables boiler
operation on individual days or series of days which are pre-
cise to the minute (e.g. Monday to Friday or Saturday to Sun-
day).
The time clock is not to be used for any other purpose. The
time clock uses the latest technology and complies with appli-
cable safety regulations. The time clock is factory sealed and
unauthorised access and repairs will invalidate any warranty
therefore any repairs to the time clock must be carried out by
manufacturer.
Installation and commissioning must be performed by ade-
quately qualified specialist personnel.
The time clock complies with the following EU guidelines:
- 72/23/EWG “Low Voltage Guidelines”
- 89/336/EWG “EMC Guidelines”, including amendment
guideline 92/31/EWG

• Power supply* to the boiler must be isolated before carrying
out any modifications to the wiring of the time clock.
• Avoid any contact of the time clock with water.
• Unauthorised repairs or installation by unqualified persons
may result in a life-threatening electric shock hazard.
* The time clock and associated connection panel has a 230V
power supply taken from the boiler.
