Attach the hinge bolts (d) to the top and the bottom of the gate compartment (b). Ill. 1 and Ill. 2
Before attaching the hinge bolts, nuts (e), insert the horizontal slats of the gate compartment (b)
in the provided slits on the top and bottom on the sides. Ill. 1 and Ill. 2
Place the gate compartments (a) and (b) flush next to each other so that there is no gap.
Only push the gate compartments far enough apart so that the gate compartment (a) has a
distance of exactly 28 mm between the last gate slat and the wall or door surface and the gate
compartment (b) has a distance of min. 30mm - max. 63 mm between the last gate slat and the
wall or the door surface. Ill. 3
Screw both of the gate compartments (a) and (b) respectively to each other at the top and the bottom.
For this purpose, insert the connection screws (i) in the drilled holes and tighten firmly with the screw
sleeves (j) from the other side. Ill. 4 and Ill. 5. Tighten the screws slightly with a Phillips screwdriver.
Check if both of the gate compartments are tightly attached to each other.
In order to limit the opening direction, installation of the stopper (n) is optional.
Optionally, the stopper (n) can be inserted either on the left or right. Mount the stopper (n) on the
desired side of the clamp shell (f). Ill. 6 and Ill. 7
Using the mounting template (l), mark the position for the screw holes needed for the hinges (h).
Ill. 8, Ill. 9 and Ill. 10 These are marked with the name “HINGE”.
Screw the lower hinge parts (h) with the wood mounting screws (k) (if attachment surface is
different, use appropriate screws and anchors) firmly to the wall. During this step, the mounting
screws (k) are only screwed in the lower screw hole of the hinges. Ill. 11 and Ill. 12
Now place the assembled gate compartments with the pre-assembled hinge bolts on the hinges.

ATTENTION: Always open the gate away from the dangerous position to avoid dangerous
situations!
Installation on stairs
Especially well suited for installation at the top of stairs as it opens
completely and does not present a tripping hazard.
(A) Install at the top of the upper the stair
and do not install on one of the stairs.
(B) If the safety barrier is used at the bottom
of the stairs, it should be positioned in the front
of the lowest tread possible.
