I . PRIOR TO FIRST USE

Carefully take the appliance and its detachable parts out of the package. Remove all





user’s right to aftersales service.

Wipe the base of the appliance with a damp cloth, then let dry. You may notice foreign

II . OPERATING THE IRON



Ensure that the iron is unplugged from the electrical outlet. Turn the temperature

control dial into “Off” position and steam output control dial nto position.

Iron REDMOND RI-C244-E is equipped with a temperature control dial. The dial is

provided with standard symbols of temperature modes and the names of fabrics.

Turn the temperature control dial to align the name of fabric with the cursor on the

housing (refer to “Fabric Ironing Chart”). Heating indicator on the housing will light up

to indicate heating. Once the soleplate reaches the required temperature heating in-

dicator will go out, indicating that the iron is ready to use.



Steam output control dial can be in the following positions:

1. Maximum steam output (recommended for steaming heavy fabrics);

2. “ECO” feature (energy saving mode used for delivering optimal steam output in

selected temperature mode while saving energy);
