Removal
Push the central release button 8 to unlock the car seat from the
base. Tilt the seat a little. The base indicator now shows red. Now you can
release the unlocking buttons to lift the car seat off the Base.
REARWARD-FACING USE (60-105 cm)
Adjusting the headrest
NOTE! Only when adjusted to the most suitable height, the headrest 9
offers your child the best protection and safety.
• The headrest 9 must be adjusted to leave a maximum space of two
fingers width between the child‘s shoulders and the headrest 9.
• Activate the adjustable handle on the top side of the headrest 9 and
move it into the required position.
The indicator 11 on the headrest 9 shows the height of the child from
which the seat is recommended for forwardfacing use at the earliest. The
seat may only be used forward-facing, if:
• the child is > 76 cm tall and
• the child is min. 16 months old. We recommend to use the seat as long
as possible in rearward-facing position and
• the correctly adjusted headrest 9 covers the indicator 11.
NOTE! Kio can be used from 40cm with the additionally available newborn
inlay 10.
• Put the newborn inlay 10 into the seat shell underneath the integrated
harness.
• Please remove the newborn inlay 10 when the child reaches a body
height of 61 cm.
Smontaggio
Premere il tasto di sbloccaggio centrale anteriore 8 per sganciare il seggio-
linoauto dalla base. Inclinare leggermente il seggiolino. L’indicatore della
base diventa ROSSO. Ora i tasti di sbloccaggio possono essere rilasciati e
il seggiolinoauto può essere rimosso dalla base.
USO NEL SENSO OPPOSTO A QUELLO
DI MARCIA (60-105 cm)
Adattamento del poggiatesta
AVVISO! Solo un poggiatesta regolato all’altezza ottimale 9 garantisce la
massima sicurezza e il massimo comfort per il vostro bambino.
• Il poggiatesta 9 deve essere regolato in modo che tra la spalla del
bambino e il poggiatesta 9 non rimangano più di due dita.
• Azionare il tasto di regolazione posto sul bordo superiore del poggiatesta
9 e portare quest’ultimo alla posizione desiderata.
L’indicatore 11 del poggiatesta 9 mostra anche a partire da quale altezza
minima del bambino può essere consigliato il passaggio al trasporto nel
senso di marcia. Un uso nel senso di marcia è consentito solo se:
• il bambino ha un’altezza > 76 cm e
• il bambino ha compiuto il 16° mese di età. Si consiglia di usare il più a
lungo possibile il seggiolino nel senso opposto a quello di marcia e che
• il poggiatesta regolato correttamente 9 copra l’indicatore 11.
AVVISO! Con la riduzione neonato Kio 10 disponibile come accessorio, Kio
più essere usato già a partire da un’altezza di 40 cm.
• Inserire la riduzione neonato 10 nella struttura sotto al sistema di cinture
di sicurezza
• A partire da un’altezza di 61 cm la riduzione 10 può essere rimossa
