NuVinci N360 with uent gears (360%)
The NuVinci N360 is a maintance free hub gear that
shis uently from the lowest to the highest gear, with
a large gear range of 360%. Shiing will be smooth even
under heavy load.
Controlling it is easily done by turning the gripshier at
the grip on the rightside. You can always shi, even by
stand (However, pedalling during shiing makes it a bit
lighter, and you can shi between the enre gear range
only when pedalling while shiing). In the display of the
gripshier you can see the current gear rao.
Shimano Acera with 9 gears
The Shimano Acera is a derailleur gear with 9 gears.
It can be manually controlled with the two shiers next
to the right handlebar. The lowest one (controlled with
the thumb) shis 1 gear up/lighter with a small push
or 2 gears up/lighter with a big push. The upper shier
(controlled with forenger) shis 1 gear down/heavier
with every push.
It is important you always keep cycling when you shi
gears, but don’t use force on the pedals while shiing.
Never shi gears when in a standsl. The display of the
shier provides you the informaon about which gear
you’re in.
Fine tuning derailleur gears
To avoid unnecessary wear and noise from the chain,
you can make sure that the derailleur wheel is in
a straight line with the cassee wheel. The chain
should also run in a straight line. This can be possibly
netuned by the rear derailleur of with the cable
adjustmentscrew at the shier.
