2.5. Veilig omgaan met het apparaat
De naaimachine is uitgerust met pootjes met zuignappen,
zodat hij stabiel staat. Zorg er desondanks voor dat u de
machine neerzet op een vlakke, stevige ondergrond en dat
alle vier de pootjes op de ondergrond rusten.
Tijdens gebruik moeten de ventilatieopeningen vrij blijven:
zorg ervoor dat er niets (bijv. stof, restjes garen, enz.) in de
openingen terechtkomt.
Zet nooit iets op het voetpedaal.
Gebruik uitsluitend de meegeleverde accessoires. Naalden
zijn verkrijgbaar bij de vakhandel.
Gebruik voor het smeren uitsluitend speciale
naaimachineolie. Gebruik geen andere vloeistoffen.
Let tijdens het naaien op dat u niet met uw vingers onder de
naaldhouder komt.
Wees voorzichtig bij het bedienen van de bewegende
delen van de machine en vooral met de naalden en messen.
Er bestaat ook gevaar voor letsel, als de machine niet is
aangesloten op het elektriciteitsnet!
Gebruik geen verbogen of botte naalden.
Houd de stof tijdens het naaien niet vast en trek niet aan de
stof. De naalden kunnen breken.
Zet de naalden als u klaar bent met het naaiwerk, altijd in de
hoogste stand.
Schakel de machine als u klaar bent en voor
onderhoudswerkzaamheden altijd uit en haal de netstekker
uit het stopcontact.
2.6. Reinigen en opbergen
Haal voordat u het apparaat gaat reinigen, de netstekker
uit het stopcontact. Gebruik voor het reinigen een droge,
zachte doek. Vermijd het gebruik van chemische oplos- en
reinigingsmiddelen, omdat deze het oppervlak en/of de
opschriften van het apparaat kunnen beschadigen.
