5.4 Noise / Vibration Information
Measured values determined according to EN 60 745.
Typically the A-weighted noise levels of the tool are:
Sound pressure level: 92 dB (A).
Sound power level: 103 dB (A).
Acoustic output value measured according to es-
tablished guideline 2000/14/EC, appendix VI.
L
WA
= 103 dB (A)
L
WAd
= 105 dB (A)
Measurement was performed by noti ed individual
No. ES-1014 EZU s. p. Pod Lisem 129, 171 02
Prague 71.
Inaccuracy of measurement K = 3 dB (A).
CAUTION
The noise created during work may damage hear-
ing.
Use hearing-protective aids!
The typical hand-arm vibration is 3.4 m/s
2
.
Inaccuracy of measurement K = 1.5 m/s
2
.
Declared total value of vibrations was measured
according to standard measure method and can
be used for comparison one powertools with the
others.
Declared total value of vibrations can be used for
preliminary setting of exposition.
Warning:
Emission of vibrations during real operating can
be different from declared total value of vibrations
depending on speci c real conditions.
To protect operating person shell be provide safety
measurement, that evaluate the exposition un-
der the real conditions (here are included all parts
of operating cycle, switch of mode and idle run
mode).
6 Transport and delivery
The SSP 200 EB sword saw is delivered in per-
fect, tested condition, packed in a plastic systainer.
The oil reservoir of the machine SSP 200 EB is
not lled. When the machine is delivered, take it
directly out of the packaging and check for poten-
tial damage during transport. Any damage caused
during transport must be reported to the carrier
immediately.
6.1 Storage
The packed sword saw can be stored in a dry stor-
age area without a heating, where the temperature
does not drop bellow 5 °C. Store the unpacked
saw only in a dry closed storage where the tem-
perature does not drop below +5 °C, and where
sudden temperature changes are prevented.
7 Adjustment
CAUTION!
All adjustments and settings must be carried out
before the machine is switched on.
WARNING
Danger of electrical injury.
Unplug any tool before handling.
Wear protective gloves!
7.1 Tilting the guide bar lengthwise
The guide bar, including the guard plate, can be
tilted 10° backward. This adjustment is mainly
used when multiple layers are cut at the same
time. It prevents resistance to the tool and an
uneven cut.
- Release lever [3-1] upward (Fig. [3a]).
- By pulling the handle, tilt the guide bar back-
wards and secure it again with the lever [3-1]
downward (Fig. [3b]).
7.2 Cutting angle adjustment
WARNING
For bevel cuts the maximum cutting depth is
limited.
Release the hand screws [4-2] on both sides. Us-
ing the bevel indicator [4-3], adjust the cutting
angle to the required value (the bevel indicator is
divided into 1° increments). Re-tighten the hand
screws [4-2].
7.3 Motor electronics
Starting current limitation
Smooth, electronically controlled starting ensures
that the machine starts without kickback. Due to
the machine’s limited starting current, a 16 A cir-
cuit breaker is suf cient.
Idle speed reduction
The electronics reduce the machine’s RPM during
idle, which also decreases wear to the motor and
gears.
Constant electronics
Constant electronics maintain the RPM the same at
idle and under load, which ensures uniform work
movement and a high-quality cut.
Electronic overload protection
If the machine is extremely overloaded, electronic
protection guards the motor from damage. In this
case, the motor stops and resumes only after dis-
charge, and after the switch is engaged again.
