- Mount the new chain on the guide reglet and
insert into the machine. Keep the right positi-
on of the cut teeth according the direction of
rotation. The direction of rotation is marked by
the arrow on the protective shield. Stretching
pins (picture 10, pos.4) must fit into the rele-
vant holes in the guide reglet and the chain
must fit exactly into the teeth of the driving
chain wheel.
- Assembly of the other parts will be carried out
in the the opposite way.
Adjust the protective reglet and assem-
ble the protective shield on it! (see page
25, Adjustment of the protective reglet)
Check the correct tension of the chain!
Use only such a chain, whose space is
lined up with the guide reglet
The service life of the tool cut set is the
most dependant on the lubrication and
stretching of the chain. Because of this
reason stretching of the chain must be
checked and adjusted before as well as
during work.

- Set the machine so that the guide reglet is in
a horizontal position (picture 11 ).
- Release easily both clamping nuts of the gui-
de reglet.
- Turn with the help of a screw-driver of the
combine spanner the stretching screw until
the bottom part of the chain tightly fits the gui-
de reglet.
- Check the right tension of the chain so, that
you slightly pull the bottom part of the chain
according the picture 11. After releasing the
chain must go back to the original position and
tightly fit the guide reglet.
- After adjusting stretching of the chain tighten
again both clamping nuts of the guide reglet!
Chains which were stretched in the
operationally warmed state are without
fail necessary to be released after finis-
hing work. When cooling the stretched
chain, its contraction will result to a
high stress which could cause a dama-
ge to the machine!
Before starting the assembly pull the
plug of the movable supply out of the
socket!
Picture 12
- Insert from behind into the hole in the machine
the spanner 6 (picture 12) and hold the driving
spindle.
- Take the safety nut M12 off the chain wheel.
- Put the new chain wheel on and fasten the
safety nut firmly.
- Take the imbus-spanner out again!
