Operate Gas Hob
WARNING: Danger of explosion!
Check for leaks before each use! See chapter “Gas
connection” “Finding Areas with a Bad Seal”.
Do not operate the appliance if the pressure regulator,
hose or gas bottle are defective or leaking.
Suitable Cookware
Both the right and left burners can be used to heat pots with
curved bottoms.
Use a pot or pan / wok of the appropriate size for the
burner. Make sure that the pot, pan or wok is not too
small and also not too large for the pot support. It is rec-
ommended that cookware such as woks do not exceed
40 cm in diameter.
The suitable bottom diameter of domed pots is 32 cm.
The pan diameter should be between 26 cm and 32 cm.
Switch on the Appliance
1. Make sure that both gas knobs are in the 12 o’clock
position (OFF).
2. Open the gas valve on the gas bottle.
3. Press the gas knob and then turn it anticlockwise until
you hear a click.
4. Flame monitoring: Press and hold the gas control knob
until the ame burns safely. Approx. 3 to 4 seconds.
- If the burner does not ignite, switch it off. Wait 1 minute
before repeating the ignition process.
- If the appliance has not been used for a long period
of time, it may be necessary to repeat the ignition
process a few times.
5. Adjusting the ame:
To adjust the ame, turn the gas knob to the desired
setting (see table). The ame can easily be adjusted to
any setting from high to low by turning the knob to the
desired setting. When doing this, the ame should stay
below the bottom of the pot. This way you use the gas
more efciently and avoid burns.
NOTE:
The inner burner is not adjustable.
