Changing the compactor oil

The compactor oil must be changed after

every 200 hours of operation.

Removethescrewatthetopofthe

compactor (11) and tilt the plate compactor

so that the oil can drain into a suitable

container.

Place the plate compactor horizontal and ll

thecompactorhousingwith100mloffresh

SAE20W-20 oil.

Do not overll, as this can cause overheating.

Putthescrewbackinandtightenitrmly.

Transport

The plate compactor can be transported over

short distances by unfolding the transport

wheels(9).Pleaserememberthatthe

compactor is very heavy and may therefore

bediculttomoveupanddownslopes.

Use lifting handles at the front and back if it

is necessary to lift the plate compactor.

Storage for longer periods

Empty the fuel tank and start the engine to

remove all the fuel in it.

Removethesparkplugwhentheenginehas

rundryandhascooleddown.Pourasmall

amount of engine oil into the spark plug hole

and replace the spark plug.

Gently pull the starter handle to distribute

the oil through the engine.

Clean and store the plate compactor in a

clean, dry and dust-free place.

Tosavespace,thehandlecanbefoldedaway

so that the plate compactor takes up less

space.
