New Classics Deep Fryer Article 2607
General
This attractive Princess New Classics
Deep Fryer is one of the products in our
New Classics range, all of which are
finished in sturdy chrome-plated steel.
Your Deep Fryer will enable you to fry
delicious meals.
The Deep Fryer, with a power rating of
2200 W, has an easy-to-use control panel
with a continuously-variable temperature
control and indicator light, a lid, and a
stainless steel bowl with a capacity of a
maximum of 3 litres of frying oil or fat. The
appliance is fitted with an overheating
safeguard. Connect the appliance to a 220
- 240 V mains power supply. If you so wish,
you can fold in the handle of the frying
basket and store it in the empty bowl. You
can also stow the power cord in the recess
behind the control panel.

controls

The appliance is equipped with the

Before use for the first time
1 Take the appliance out of the
packaging.
2 Clean the appliance. See ‘Cleaning and
maintenance’.
3 Open the lid, and remove the frying
basket from the bowl.
4 Fill the inner bowl with liquid frying oil
or fat. Make sure that the level of the oil
or fat in the bowl lies between the “MIN”
and “MAX” markings (with the heating
elements placed in the bowl). This is
between 2 and 3 litres (see Figure 2).
5 Put the frying basket in the bowl.
Use only liquid frying fat or frying oil.
Margarine, butter and solid fat are not
suitable for frying, and their use is
forbidden.

temperatures
Fresh chips
Temperature: 175°C
Time 10 - 12 min.
Deep-frozen chips
Refer to the manufacturer’s directions
Rissoles, appetizers
Refer to the manufacturer’s directions
Chicken nuggets
Temperature: 180°C
Time 4 -5 min.
Fillet of fish (coated with bread crumbs)
Temperature: 170°C
Time 5 -6 min.
Onion rings
Temperature: 170°C
Time 2 -3 min.
Frying
Take extreme care when filling,
emptying and using the deep fryer.
The bowl is extremely hot; the hot
vapours, and splashes of hot fat and
oil can cause severe burns. The
appliance’s housing will also become
hot, since the housing is an excellent
conductor of heat.
