5 Place the lid on the mixing bowl and

rotate the lid clockwise as far as

possible. The lid’s protruding lip must

be slid over the mixing bowl’s handle.

6 Place the stopper in the filling opening.

The food processor has a safety device.

The mixing bowl and the lid must be

positioned as shown above, otherwise it

will not be possible to turn the appliance

on.

7 Pull the power cord out of the storage

space at the rear of the motor housing.

8 Insert the plug into the wall socket.

9 Press the On/Off button to turn on the

food processor. The indicator light will

be lit.

10 Add ingredients during use via the filling

opening in the lid. Use the stopper to

push solid ingredients downwards

through the filling opening. Do not push

too hard.

• To avoid personal injury or damage to

the appliance, never insert a hand, the

spatula or another object into the

mixing bowl whilst the appliance is

being used.

• Always use the stopper to push

ingredients. Never use your fingers, a

fork or another object to push

ingredients.

11 Use the measuring jug in the stopper to

measure and add liquid ingredients.

12 Also use the stopper and the measuring

jug to close the filling opening during

use so that nothing can fall into or

splash out of the mixing bowl.

13 Turn the appliance off after use (press

the On/Off button or release the PULSE

button).

14 Unscrew the mixing bowl and remove it

from the motor housing. Remove the

accessory from the bowl before

emptying the contents out of the bowl.

Do not remove the lid from the mixing

bowl before the knife has stopped

moving.

Tips

• In the PULSE setting, the food

processor can rotate at its maximum

speed for a short period of time. This

setting only works when the button is

pressed for a short period of time.

• If the ingredients stick to the knife or

to the inside of the mixing bowl, turn

the appliance off and remove the lid

and the knife. The ingredients can

then be scraped off using the

spatula.

• Cut the ingredients into small pieces

before placing them in the mixing

bowl.

• The machine chops very quickly.

Make sure the machine does not

chop for too long! It is better to chop

briefly a number of times using the

PULSE setting.

• Do not chop hard ingredients, such

as coffee beans, nutmeg or ice

cubes.

Accessories

Be careful when attaching and

removing accessories. The knives and

graters/shredders are sharp. Only hold

them by the plastic ends.

The accessories provided are:

• A large knife and a small knife.

• A combined grater and shredder.

•A slicer.

• A beating disk.

Some of the accessories are stored in the

storage tray at the bottom of the appliance.

Use the knives for chopping or blending

large or small pieces of meat, fish,

vegetables and fruit.
