Fill the pan with water, stock or another •
liquid. Make sure that the liquid level is
between the minimum mark (0.8 litres) and
the maximum mark (1.1 litres) on the pan
(fig. B).
Place the lid onto the appliance.•
Turn the thermostat dial to set the required •
temperature (100 - 130 °C). The temperature
indicator goes off when the water has
reached the required temperature.
Place the steam rack into the appliance.•
Put the food on the steam rack.•
Place the lid onto the appliance.•
If the process is completed, remove the lid •
from the appliance.
Remove the steam rack from the appliance.•
Remove the food from the steam rack.•
If you want to steam more food, repeat •
the above steps. Regularly check whether
the liquid level is between the minimum
mark (0.8 litres) and the maximum mark
(1.1 litres) on the pan (fig. B). If necessary,
add more liquid.
After use, switch off the appliance, remove •
the mains plug from the wall socket and
wait until the appliance has cooled down.
Soups (fig. C)
Soup is food prepared by combining
ingredients such as meat and vegetables with
water, stock or other liquids.
Place the appliance on a stable and flat •
surface.
Make sure that the food level stays below •
the maximum mark (2.0 litres) on the pan
(fig. C).
Turn the thermostat dial to set the •
required temperature (100 - 130 °C). The
temperature indicator goes off when the
pan has reached the required temperature.
Clamping the mains cable (fig. F)
The mains cable can be clamped for safety
reasons. Refer to the illustration to clamp the
mains cable correctly.

- Beware of splashes when putting food in

Hotpots (fig. C)
”Hotpot” refer to several East Asian varieties
of stew, consisting of a simmering metal pot
at the center of the dining table. While the
pot is kept simmering, ingredients are placed
into the pot and cooked at the table.
Place the appliance on a stable and flat •
surface.

the maximum mark (2.0 litres) on the pan
(fig. C).
