Furthermore, you can also use the steam to refresh spaces,

especially those frequented by smokers.

11. STEAM ADJUSTMENT (see page 5)

You can optimise the steam flow by means of the steam

adjustment knob. To increase the flow, turn the knob clockwise.

Turning anti-clockwise reduces the flow. Here are some tips for

regulating it:

• Maximum level (4/5): to remove encrustation, stains, grease

and to sanitise;

• Medium level (3): for carpets, rugs, glass and floors;

• Minimum level (1/2): to steam plants, clean delicate fabrics,

wall coverings, sofas, etc.

12. MULTIFLOOR FUNCTION

The Multifloor function is specifically for cleaning floors. The

function involves the combined action of a delicate intermittent

flow of steam with adequate suction force.

- Lock the two extension tubes (3) onto the handle (1).

- Connect the universal brush (2) and attach the rug/carpet

frame (2c) (see page 4).

- Attach the cloth supplied (10) to the universal brush (2) (see

page 5).

- Switch on the boiler using the boiler button.

- Adjust the steam depending on the surface.

- Wait until the steam indicator light ( ) is constant.

- Press the boiler button once again to activate the Multifloor

function.

Press the trigger on the handle to obtain the alternate steam

dispenser cycle, and at the same time start up suction at

intermediate power.

Release the steam trigger on the handle to stop the steam flow,

while suction will continue to dry the surface treated.

To deactivate the Multifloor function, press the boiler button again.

13. OUT OF WATER (see page 5)

Thanks to the self-filling system, it is not necessary to wait for the

appliance to cool before refilling the boiler with water.

When the tank is out of water, the indicator light on the control

panel (tap) will turn on and you will hear a beep.

To continue use, it is sufficient to refill the water tank.

14. AUTOMATIC SUCTION LOCK

When the dirt sucked into the water filter collector reaches the

maximum level allowed, suction will be automatically blocked

by the special safety float. This can also happen when the water

in the collector is very dirty. In these cases, there is an increase

in the motor rpm: it is therefore necessary to remove the water

in the collector.

Turn off the appliance and only restart it when the level of the water

in the collector has been restored as described in Chapter 1.

15. BIOECOLOGICO

Bioecologico is an anti-foaming and deodorising product

containing natural substances. It prevents foaming inside the

water filter thus ensuring correct functioning of the appliance.

When diluted inside the dirt collection tank, Bioecologico also

acts as an effective deodoriser and thanks to the natural

substances which it is composed of, it prevents unpleasant

smells inside the collection tank and releases a fresh clean

fragrance into the environment.

CONTAINS: Eugenol, Citral, Cinnamal - May cause an allergic

reaction.

Contents of the phial: 5 ml

Bioecologico is sold at all major domestic-appliance shops or

online at www.polti.com.

HOW TO USE BIOECOLOGICO

15.1 Add water to the water filter as instructed in this manual.

15.2 Shake the phial before use.

15.3 Bend and break the phial cap.

15.4 Pour the contents of the phial into the water filter collector

of the appliance.

WARNING: Never poor Bioecologico into the boiler.

Use 1 phial per use.

A possible change in the colour of the liquid does not alter the

functioning or the efficacy of the product

WARNING: Immediately turning the appliance back on,

without replacing the water, could damage the air outlet filter.

To vacuum surfaces it is not necessary to fill the tank, simply

turn the boiler off.

The suction speed cannot be adjusted.
