Polar activiteitenzones
Op basis van wandelsnelheden, verdeelt Polar de activiteit in vijf zones. De volgende tabel toont de zones
en hun invloeden op uw gezondheid en conditie.

Regelmatig

bevorderlijk voor
ieders gezondheid
en verbetert de
conditie van de
meeste mensen.
Regelmatig
hardlopen is een
aanbevolen activiteit
voor een uitstekende
conditie.
Rennen verbetert
zelfs in korte
sessies de
prestaties en
verbetert de
wedstrijdsnelheid.
Afhankelijk van uw huidige conditieniveau kan regelmatig wandelen de conditie verbeteren. Als een
minder fitte persoon bijvoorbeeld dagelijks 30 minuten of langer op normale snelheid wandelt, verbetert
de conditie. Bij een ervaren wandelaar zal stevig wandelen de conditie verbeteren. Een goede aanbeveling
is om drie tot vijf keer per week gedurende minstens dertig minuten stevig te wandelen. Deze aanbeveling
geldt ook voor hardlopen.
