NOTES:
÷
When a control cord is connected to the player’s CONTROL
IN jack, direct control of the player with the remote control
unit is not possible. Operate the player with the remote
control unit by aiming it at the amplifier.
÷
Be sure to connect both of the control cord’s plugs securely
to the CONTROL IN and CONTROL OUT terminals. Do not
connect only one end of the cable (PD-M406A only).
÷
Be sure to turn off the power of the amplifier before
connecting the power cord and output cord.
Connecting the power cord
Connect the power cord to a household AC wall outlet or an
AC outlet on your amplifier.
÷ Make sure plugs are inserted fully into the jacks and wall
outlet.
REMARQUES:
÷
Quand un cordon de télécommande est branché au lecteur
par la prise CONTROL lN, il est impossible d’exploiter
directement celuici par la télécommande. Faire fonctionner
le lecteur en pointant la télécommande vers l’amplificateur.
÷
Veiller à raccorder les deux fiches du cordon de
télécommande à fond dans les prises CONTROL lN/OUT.
Ne jamais brancher qu’une seule extrémité du cordon(PD-
M406A seulement).
÷
Toujours couper l’alimentation de l’amplificateur avant de
raccorder le cordon d’alimentation et le câble de sortie.

Brancher le câble d’alimentation dans une prise de courant
murale ou dans l’une des prises CA de l’amplificateur.
÷ S’assurer que les fiches sont insérées à fond dans les prises
et la prise de courant.

Timer playback:
By using a commercially available audio timer, it is possible
to initiate playback at any time automatically.
1. Insert a magazine into the magazine slot.
2. Set the time at which you wish playback to begin.
The timer will supply power to both the amplifier and the
player at the preset time, turning all the components on
and initiating the playback mode. Playback starts from the
first track on the first disc.
Cautions:
÷ Do not unplug the power cord or do not turn off the
power with an audio timer during playback, as this
could result in damage to the disc.
÷ If a power failure occurs while the power is turned off
(standby mode), the power is automatically turned on
with the timer playback function when the power is
restored.
THEREFORE, DISCONNECT THE AC POWER CORD WHEN
THE PLAYER IS NOT USED FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME.
Some functions cannot be carried out depending on the
connection of AC power cord.

Lecture par minuterie:
En utilisant une minuterie audio du commerce, il est
possible de démarrer automatiquement la lecture n’importe
quand.
1. Insérer un magasin chargeur dans la fente.
2. Régler l’heure à laquelle vous voulez que la lecture
commence.
La minuterie fournira l’alimentation à l’amplificateur et au
lecteur à l’heure préréglée, mettant tous les éléments
sous tension et engageant le mode de lecture. La lecture
commence à partir de la première piste du premier disque.
Attentions :
÷ Ne pas débrancher le cordon d’alimentation ni couper
l’alimentation de la minuterie audio pendant la lecture
car ceci peut endommager le disque.
÷ Si une panne de courant se produit alors que
l’alimentation est coupée (mode d’attente),
l’alimentation est automatiquement fournie par la
fonction de lecture par minuterie quand l’alimentation
est redonnée.
PAR CONSEQUENT, DEBRANCHER LE CORDON
D’ALIMENTATION SECTEUR QUAND LE LECTEUR NE
DOIT PAS ETRE UTILISE PENDANT LONGTEMPS.

Certaines fonctions ne peuvent pas être utilisées, selon la
connexion du cordon d’alimentation secteur.
