Gebruik van RDS-functies
PI-zoekfunctie
De tuner gaat op zoek naar een andere frequentie waarop hetzelfde programma wordt uitgezon-
den. “PI SEEK” verschijnt op het display en het radiovolume wordt gedempt tijdens het PI-
zoeken. Na afloop van het PI-zoeken wordt opnieuw het oorspronkelijke volume ingesteld,
ongeacht of het PI-zoeken geslaagd is of niet. Als het PI-zoeken niet geslaagd is, stemt de tuner
opnieuw af op de voordien ingestelde frequentie.
PI-zoeken
Het PI-zoeken start automatisch als de tuner geen geschikte alternatieve frequentie vindt of
als het uitgezonden signaal te zwak is voor een goede ontvangst.
Automatisch PI-zoeken (voor voorkeuzezenders)
Wanneer voorkeuzezenders niet kunnen worden opgeroepen, bijvoorbeeld gedurende een
lange rit, kan dit toestel de PI-zoekfunctie ook activeren tijdens het oproepen van
voorkeuzezenders.
Automatisch PI-zoeken is bij het verlaten van de fabriek uitgeschakeld (OFF).

• Zie “Basisinstelling” voor details m.b.t. het in- of uitschakelen (ON/OFF) automatische
PI-zoekfunctie.
Regionale functie
Wanneer AF wordt gebruikt om de tuner automatisch opnieuw af te stemmen, zal de
regionale functie (REG) de keuze beperken tot zenders die regionale programma’s uitzen-
den.
Opmerking:
• De manier waarop regionale programma’s en regionale netwerken zijn georganiseerd, verschilt van
land tot land (zij kunnen bijvoorbeeld afhankelijk van het uur, de provincie of het uitzendgebied
verschillen).
• Het voorkeuzenummer op het display verdwijnt mogelijk als de tuner afstemt op een regionale zen-
der die verschilt van de oorspronkelijk ingestelde zender.
• De REG-functie kan voor iedere FM-golfband afzonderlijk worden in- of uitgeschakeld (ON/OFF).
Inschakelen/uitschakelen van de REG-functie
Bij het verlaten van de fabriek is REG ingeschakeld (ON).
• De REG-functie uitschakelen (OFF).
Herhaal de bovenstaande handeling om REG opnieuw in te schakelen (ON).
