Jetlag
Hurtige rejser på tværs af flere tidszoner sætter kroppens indre ur ud
af balance med de nye omgivelsers tid. Det kan ikke bare forårsage
søvnproblemer, men også påvirke humøret og energien. Hvis du skal
blive i den anden tidszone i flere dage, ønsker du måske at stille din
krops indre ur efter den nye tidszone. Det kan hjælpe dig med at sove
bedre og være mere oplagt og energisk, når du har brug for det. En af
de bedste metoder til håndtering af jetlag er at begynde at ændre
indstillingen af kroppens indre ur og dine sovetider flere dage før
afrejsen.
Rejser østpå
Når du rejser østpå, skal du gå så mange timer tidligere i seng, så det
svarer til det antal tidszoner, du krydser. Du kan stille kroppens indre
ur frem i intervaller af én time om dagen. Antallet af tidszoner, du
krydser, bestemmer hvor mange dage inden afgang du er nødt til at
starte med at bruge Philips EnergyUp. Brug apparatet i 30 minutter,
efter du vågner op. Undgå stærkt lys om aftenen, og gå tidligt i seng.
Når du ankommer til din destination, skal du undgå stærkt lys i din
normale søvnperiode. Udsæt dig selv for stærkt lys i slutningen af
denne periode, så du vender kroppens indre ur endnu mere til den
lokale tid.
Før hjemrejsen skal du bruge Philips EnergyUp sent om aftenen i et
par dage. På rejsens sidste nat kan du forsøge at blive oppe og bruge
EnergyUp så sent som muligt efter midnat. På afrejsedagen skal du
undgå stærkt lys om morgenen.
