Problem Cause Solution
You have not fried the
food long enough.
Check the package of the food to be fried or
the food table at the end of this booklet for the
correct temperature.
There is too much food in
the basket.
Never fry more food at one time than the
quantity mentioned in the food table at the end
of this booklet.
The oil or fat does not
become hot enough.
The fuse of the temperature control may
have blown, causing the safety cut-out to switch
off the appliance. Carefully press the reset
button at the back of the control panel with a
small screwdriver.
The fryer gives
off a strong
unpleasant smell.
The permanent anti-
grease lter is saturated.
Remove the lid and clean the lid and the lter in
hot water with some washing-up liquid or in the
dishwasher.
The oil or fat is no longer
