CONNECTIONS
INTRODUCTION
This
auto reverse cassette decl< is suitabie for use
with
ferro, chromium and metai
cassettes.
The
cassettes
do not have to be turned over at the end
of the tape: the direction of tape travel can be
reversed
automatically at the end of the
cassette,
whereafter
recording or playback is continued on
the other side of the
cassette.
The
cassette deck is equipped
with
the Dolby B and
Dolby C NR (Nolse Reduction)
system,
manufac-
tured under llcense
from
Dolby Laboratories
Licen-
sing
Corporation.
'DOLBY'
and the double-D symbol are trade-
rrarks
of Dolby Laboratories Licensing Corpora-
tion.
The
copying of gramophone records and the
recording of radio programmes is only permitted if
there is no infringement of copyrights or other
rights of
third
parties.

for
users
in U.K.
Recording
and playback of material may require
consent.

INSTALLATION
Remove all protective materials after unpacking.
Do not place the
unit
or the
cassettes
for any
length of time in direct sunlight or other places
where
high temperatures can occur, such as near
heating equipment.
Do not exposé the
unit
to damp or rain.
This
cassette deck incorporates microproces-
sors.
In
case
of any malfunctioning due to static
electricity etc, just switch OFF the mains and
switch
ON again after approx. 30 seconds.
Always install the cassette deck horizontally.
When the cassette deck is installed on or near
other audio equipment, sometimes hum may occur.
Try
a different position in that
case.
Usually the
cassette
deck will be positioned at the
bottom
of a
stack.

cassette
deck.
Important note for
users
in U.K.:
When
fitting
a mains plug to the mains lead proceed as follows:
The
wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance
with
the
following
code: Blue = Neutral, Brown =
Live.
As
these colours may not correspond to the colour markings
identifying the terminals in your plug proceed as follows:
The
Brown wire must be oonnected to the terminal which is
marked
with
the letter L or coloured Red.
The
Blue wire must be connected to the terminal which is marked
with
the letter N or coloured
Black.
Note:
This
apparatus must be protected by a 3 Amp
Fuse
if a

Ampplugisusedor, ifanyothertypeof plugisused,bya5 Amp
Fuse
either in the plug or adaptor or at the
distribution
board. If in
doubt
