If required, you can switch off the
loudspeal<ers with the switch at the left of this
connection.
Video recorder connection
A video recorder can be connected at the
aerial input of your set. In this case, the aerial
plug from the set should be connected to the
ir
input on the video recorder.
Connect the cable supplied with the video
recorder to the aerial input of the TV and to
the E) output of the video recorder. The set
should be tuned to the video recorder for
playback of video films or recorded TV
programmes. For more details, see the
instructions for use for your video recorder.
Tuning to the video recorder is done as
foilows:

• Switch TV on.
• Switch video recorder on.
• Press button ^ on the set.
Then proceed as foilows at the set:
• Press button OM briefly. If the signal from
the VCR appears on the screen of your set
• Select programme number

with button Pr
+ or - and then
• Press button <>. The TV is now tuned to the
video recorder. After you have switched on
the VCR and the TV, you now only have to
select programme number
O
in order to have
playbacl< of video films or recorded TV
programmes. More Information about how to
operate the video recorder will be found in the
instructions for use for the video recorder.
It is also possible to connect a TV camera or
a TV game to the aerial input of your set.
Remote contrei of video cassette
recorder is possible provided the VCR is
suitable for this. Full Information on
Adjustment and Operation is given in the
operating instructions for the VCR. It is
desirable to store the programmes on the
VCR under the same number as on your TV.
