Cleaning and protection
■ The hobs are best cleaned with a damp
cloth or kitchen paper.
■ Remove all spillages as soon as possible.
Red cabbage, rhubarb and apple sauce in
particular will corrode the enamel or
stainless steel.
■ Stubborn residue can be treated with Vim,
Ata, Scotch Brite etc.; rinse well with clean
water.
■ The stainless steel edge can be cleaned
with a liquid abrasive. Remove any
detergent left after cleaning, especially
between the edge and the plate
■ After cleaning, switch the plate on briefly
to allow the moisture to evaporate.
■ Maintenance of the plates.
Rub the plates with non-acidic oil (sewing
machine oil) or with a protectant such as
Collo Elektrol (chemist).
Installation
General
When the appliance does not have a
connecting cable and plug, then it may be
connected to the mains only by an approved
installer.
After installation the wall socket and plug
must be accessible at all times.
Please note:
The power rating and required mains voltage
are shown on the rating plate at the back of
the oven. Connection should take place
according to national and local regulations.
Wiring diagrams (Fig. 6)
■ There is a label showing the wiring
diagrams on the underside of the appliance.
■ The hob without any switches on the hob
itself, is fitted with a 12 pin plug which
should be connected to the oven or a
control panel.
