Residual risks
There will always be residual risks
even if you operate this electrical
tool according to the instructions.
The following hazards may occur
in connection with the type and de-
sign of this power tool:
a) hearing damage if suitable ear
protection is not worn.
b) eye damage if no suitable eye
protection is worn.
Warning! During operation,
this power tool produces an
electromagnetic eld. Under
certain circumstances, this
eld may negatively affect
active or passive medical
implants. In order to reduce
the danger of serious or fatal
injuries, users who wear me-
dical implants must consult
their doctor and the manu-
facturer of the implant before
operating the machine.
Assembly
Fitting the wheels and
chassis
Mounting the wheels one after
another makes assembly easier.
Fitting the wheels
1. Place the curved washer (13) on the
axle (11.1) with the curvature facing
outwards.
2. Slide the axle (11.1) into the chassis
(11).
3. Place the bushing (14), which enables
the wheel to rotate freely, onto the axle
with the curvature facing towards the
chassis.
4. Insert the wheel (12) without wheel
cover (12.1) onto the bushing (14).
5. Screw the wheel in tightly using the
Allen key (8) and the screw and
washer (15).
Fix the axle for the screw connection
using the angled Phillips Allen key (7)
into the hole provided on the axle.
6. Clip the wheel cover (12.1) into the
wheel.
7. Mount the second wheel in the same
way.
Fitting the chassis
8. Place the shredder onto the hopper (2).
Slide the chassis (11) into the shredder.
9. Fasten the chassis with the enclosed
Phillips screws (16).
