Preparation
WARNING! Risk of injury due to un-
intentional start-up. Do not insert the plug
into the outlet until the device is fully pre-
pared for use.
Wall bracket
You can hang the motor part on the wall
with the keyhole (11) on the bottom of the
device.
Tools and aids required
Screw (screw head: 7–10mm)

WARNING! Personal injury or dam-
age to property during drilling. Use suit-
able detectors to determine if
there are hidden supply lines or
contact the local utility company
for assistance. Contact with electric
cables can cause fire and electric shock.
Damaging gas lines can lead to explo-
sion. Breaking water pipes causes prop-
erty damage.
Using dowels, place one screw at the
desired position on a wall.
Let the screw head protrude with
approx.10mm distance to the wall.
Make sure that the suspension system is
designed for the weight of the device.
(Fig.C) You can place the device with
the keyhole (11) against the screw and
pull the device down as far as it will
go.
Control elements
Familiarise yourself with the operating ele-
ments before using the device for the first
time.

Switching on: Press and hold togeth-
er with the safety switch (5).
Switching off: Release the on/off
switch (6) or the safety switch (5).

Observe noise protection rules and other
local regulations.
Working with the device
WARNING! Risk of injury! Pay atten-
tion to the following instructions.
WARNING! Risk of injury from
electric shock! Immediately pull out
the mains plug if the power cord (8) is
damaged, tangled or cut.
NOTICE! Damage to the safety cutter
bar (2). While cutting, make sure that
you do not touch any objects, such as
wire fences or plant supports.
Check the device before each use for
obvious defects such as loose, worn or
damaged parts.
Always wear sturdy shoes, long
trousers, ear protection, work gloves
and protective goggles when operating
the device.
The device is only intended for work
where you are standing on the ground
and not on a ladder or other unstable
surface.
Do not try to lock the on/off switch in
place. The engine must be switched off
when the switch has been released.
Do not use the device if a switch is
damaged.
If the safety cutter bar (2) is obstructed
by solid objects, switch off the device
immediately, disconnect the mains
plug . Only then should you remove the
object.
Always work in a direction away from
the power outlet. This means you need
