■ Observe the data and the information in the

table to prevent the end of the spindle from

touching the perforated base of the grinding

tool.

Flexible shaft

■ Never operate the spindle lock while the motor

is running. Otherwise the appliance or the

ﬂexible shaft could be damaged.

♦ Unscrew the union nut anticlockwise oﬀ the

appliance and store it carefully.

♦ Press the spindle lock and hold it down.

♦ Screw the tensioning nut anticlockwise oﬀ

the appliance.

♦ The shaft needs to be pulled out a short distance

as it cannot be ﬁxed into the collet chuck ,

otherwise.

♦ Fit the ﬂexible shaft onto the appliance. To

do this, the internal access of the ﬂexible shaft

push the tensioning nut into the collet chuck

, .

♦ Press the spindle lock and hold it down.

♦ Now, tighten the tensioning nut using the

combination spanner .

Now, screw the union nut 14b of the ﬂexible

shaft clockwise onto the appliance.

♦ Place the desired accessory into the collet

chuck , of the ﬂexible shaft.

♦ To lock the spindle, push the spindle lock

back onto the ﬂexible shaft.

♦ Use the combination spanner to undo the

tensioning nut on the ﬂexible shaft.

Fit the accessory and retighten the tensioning

nut .

Stand for the multi-tool

♦ Screw the stand into the clamping assembly

NOTE

► Depending on the desired attachment onto a

vertical or horizontal surface, you can screw

the stand into the clamping assembly in

two diﬀerent positions.

♦ Screw the clamping assembly onto the edge

of a work bench or table whose thickness is at

least 55 mm.

♦ The stand is height-adjustable. Undo the

upper part of the stand by turning it anti-

clockwise (−). Pull out the tube to the maximum

height and lock it again by turning it clockwise

(+).

♦ The mount is also height-adjustable; turn

the black thread anticlockwise. After you have

set the mount to the correct height, tighten the

thread by turning in the opposite direction.

♦ Fix the appliance onto the mount of the

stand using the metal bracket . The mount

can be turned 360°.
