Note that the maximum diameter of the grind-
ing assembly and of grinding cones, pencil
grinders and grinding points with a thread insert
may not exceed 55mm and the maximum
diameter for sandpaper sanding accessories
may not exceed 80mm.
NOTE
The max. permissible length of a mandrel is
33 mm.
Store the accessories in the original box or store
the accessory components somewhere else to
protect them from damage.
Store the accessories somewhere dry and not in
the vicinity of aggressive media.
If you exert too much pressure, the fitted tool
can break and/or the workpiece could be dam-
aged. You will achieve optimum working results
by moving the tool over the workpiece at a
steady speed and while exerting light pressure.
When carrying out cutting work, hold the appli-
ance firmly with both hands.
Observe the data and the information in the ta-
ble to prevent the end of the spindle from touch-
ing the perforated base of the grinding tool.
Flexible shaft
Never operate the spindle lock while the motor
is running. Otherwise, the appliance or the flex-
ible shaft may be damaged.
Screw the union nut anticlockwise off the
appliance and store it carefully.
Press the spindle lock
and hold it down.
Screw the tensioning nut
anticlockwise off
the appliance.
Fit the flexible shaft
onto the appliance. To
do this, the internal access of the flexible shaft
push the tensioning nut into the collet chuck
, .
First tighten the tensioning nut
and then the
union nut

onto the appliance with the combination span-
ner .
Place the desired accessory into the collet
chuck
, of the flexible shaft.
Push the black the collar back onto the flexible
shaft to lock the spindle.
Open the collet chuck mount
on the flexible
shaft with the combination spanner . Fit the
attachment and screw the collet chuck mount
back in place.
Stand for the multi-tool
Screw the stand into the clamping device .
NOTE
Depending on the desired attachment onto a
vertical or horizontal surface, you can screw
the stand
into the clamping device in two
different positions.
Screw the clamping device
onto the edge of
a work bench or table with a maximum thick-
ness of 55 mm.
The stand
is height-adjustable. Undo the
upper part of the stand by turning it anti-
clockwise (−). Pull out the tube to the maximum
height and lock it again by turning it clockwise
(+).
The mount
is also height-adjustable; turn
the black thread anticlockwise. After you have
set the mount to the correct height, tighten the
thread by turning in the opposite direction.
Fix the appliance with the metal clip
onto the
mount of the stand . The mount can be
turned 360°.
