Chaos defrost
This feature allows you to defrost bread, meat items and joints of meat automatically
once you have entered in the weight of the food.
Select desired program. Press
Chaos Defrost once to seOect %read,
twice to seOect Meat ,tems and three
times to seOect Meat Joints.
Enter the weight by pressing
more/less pads. The more
pad wiOO start with the minimum
weight for each food.
Press Start. Remember to
stir or turn the food during
defrosting.
Program :eight Range SuitabOe Foods
1 %read 100g 00g RoOOs, buns, sOices of bread and Ooaves. Turn
at beeps.
Meat ,tems 00g 100g
SmaOO pieces of meat, chicken portions,
chops, steaks, minced meat. Turn at beeps
and shieOd.
Meat Joints 00g 500g :hoOe chicken, meat Moints. Turn at beeps
and shieOd.
1. Bread
This program is suitabOe for smaOO items which are reTuired for immediate use, they may feeO
warm straight after defrosting. Loaves can aOso be defrosted on this program but these wiOO
reTuire standing time to aOOow the centre to thaw out. Standing time can be shortened if sOices
are separated and buns and Ooaves cut in haOf. ,tems shouOd be turned haOfway during defrosting.

Standing time 1015 mins.
2. Meat Items (mince/chops/chicken portions)
1OT SU,TA%LE FOR SAUSAGES, these can be defrosted manuaOOy. POease refer to 'efrosting
&hart on pages 01. &hops and chicken portions shouOd be arranged in a singOe Oayer and
turned freTuentOy during defrosting. ,t is necessary for mince to be broken up freTuentOy during
defrosting and this is best carried out in a Oarge shaOOow dish. Standing time 150 mins.
3. Meat Joints/Whole Chickens
:hoOe chickens and meat Moints wiOO reTuire shieOding during defrosting especiaOOy if it is a
particuOarOy fatty piece. This is to prevent food starting to cook on the outside edges. Protect
wings, breast and fat with smooth pieces of aOuminium foiO secured with cocktaiO sticks. 'O 1OT
ALLO: T+E FO,L TO TOU&+ T+E :ALLS OF T+E O9E1. Standing time of at Oeast 1 hour
shouOd be aOOowed for Moints after defrosting.
